The Year 7 Gala Day is an opportunity for students to compete in the sports which they have been training in all term. The Gala Day is a day where all the schools in the local area come together for a fun day of sport and to compete against other schools. This excursion is part of the year 7 school sports program. This excursion provides year 7 students to showcase their skills and teamwork in a competitive environment as well as interact with students form other schools. 8:40 – Students arrive at school 9:00 – students depart from school to Heffron Park by bus 9:20 – students arrive at Heffron park 9:30-14:30 – students participate in Gala Day sports competition. 14:00 – students get on bus back to school 14:50 – students arrive at school Students are required to attend school in the morning and travel as a school via bus. They will not be permitted to meet at Heffron or Nagle Park. The Primary Cross-Country Carnival will take place at Alexandria Park Oval on 8th April. A permisison note will be sent via School Bytes. All students in Years 3-6 as well as any Year 2 students turning 8 this year will attend the Cross-Country Carnival.
